Convert 3.5 into fraction which is 7/2
( 35/10 =7/2)
1/x = 7/2
X = 2/7 ( x/1 = 2/7)
Simply put the value of x in (x+2)
X+2 = 2/7 +2
Take LCM. ( (2+14)/7 = 16/7 )
X+2=16/7
So
1/(x+2) = 7/16
Or
1/(x+2) = 0.4375
