1.why we use derived role in sap security?2.what is the technical difference between master and derived role?

Answer Posted / munish

Drive roles are used when we want to give access to users based on org levels. For example, when you want to create roles with same authorization but with org levels like based on regions.

Main difference between Master and Drive role - When you generate the master roles except org levels everything get inherited.
