Fro AS ABAP
step1:-Check the log files and trace files on os level(usr/sap/sid/instance/work, usr/sap/sid/instance/log).
step2: Check the connection b/w AS ABAP and database(R3trans -d).If the connection is ok.i will restart the as abap server again
