What is the suitable rating of MCB for 1.5 Ton A.C and why?
1Ton= how many amperes?

For 1.5 ton 1743 w power consumption AC, went with 16 A type C MCB.
Digital domestic House Electric meter showed around 8 Amp current for AC only.
1.5 times 8 is around 12
Hence 16 A is best for power consumption around 1743 W.
