as a mechanical point of view in manufacturing special purpose machine can be used to cut metal .
some of d machines are
1)CNC machine
2) water jet machine
3) abrasive jet machine
3) laser beam machine
4) electric dischrge machine
special purpose mchine can be used in welding also
1) laser beam welding
2) electron beam welding
