ViewPoint is a separate Server, which collects usage/performance data and presents it via a collection of apps for a general overview, down to a single process.
QueryMonitor, one application in ViewPoint, shows System resource usage like CPU/Spool space/.. -usage, Blocks and blocking process, explain plan ...
QueryMonitor has Rewind capability, to show not only current processes, but is able to go back in time for whatever period the server is configured to hold the data.
