Response of switch when we send tagged packet on access
port.

as per my knowledge if a access port receives a packet with 802.1q tag in the header other than the access vlan value , that port drops the packet without learning its MAC address.
NOTE: this is vendor specific. the above scenario is with CISCO devices.

Scenario: “In a switch two hosts are connected to port number 1 and 2 respectively; both the ports are configured with same VLAN id. When data is sent from one host to another, in switch VLAN tagging will happen or not? Why?”
