To build a MOD17 counter then how many flip flops are required?

5 Flipflops are required to have Mod-17 Counter.
2^5=32
2^4=16
so 5 flipflops.
Mod 17 means 17 states (0 to 16).
once it is completed 16 states and enters into 17th state immediately resets and starts from 0 again.
