How to calculate the cement, sand quantity for plastering?
(10'x10')10mm thick ratio 1:5. wht"s the formula?
Answer Posted / ashok
If we Consider 12 mm thick plaster(1:6)
Area for Calculation=1M x 1M = 1 Sqm
Quantity in Cum.=1M x 1M x 0.012M = 0.012 Cum.
Proportion of Cement = [1/7=0.143 x 0.012=0.002 Cum/0.035 x 50 = 2.45 K.g
Add 25%+5% [Dry volumn + Wastage] =[ 2.45 x 30% = 3.18 K.g]
Proportion of Send = [6/7=0.857 x 0.012=0.010 Cum x 35.32 = 0.363 cft
Add 25%+5% [Dry volumn + Wastage] =[ 0.363 x 30% = 0.472 cft]
