It is not fixed as there are bricks of different size like nominal bricks , standard bricks , actual bricks each have varying size , so the volume of single brick must b calculated and the total volume must b divided by volume of single brick which gives no. Of bricks required ..

Correction-in your que you asked for sq m but bricks are never calculated for sq m they are calculated for cu m.
