We are using 4 MVA transformer and we provided 2 separate earthing pit for Body and 2 separate earthing pit for neutral, can we connect separate body earthing pit to other earthing pit (Equipment earthing)?
Answer Posted / riaz abbasi
No, we can not connect equipment earthing with body earthing because in case of earth fault , current will also run in the body via equipment earthing system and will damage other equipments which are installed over the Transformer.
