calculation of cement bags in 1:2:4 concrete mix
Answer Posted / munkeshwar kumar gupta
For 1 m3 of concrete (1:2:4)
Required volume of concrete = 1 m3
Estimated volume of dry material = 1 x 1.5 = 1.5 m3
Mix totals = 1+2+4 = 7 (1:2:4 cement:sand:gravel)
Ingredient Volumes: 1.5 x 1/7 = 0.2143 m3 cement
Bags of cement: 0.2143 m3 cement / 30 bag per m3(50 Kg bag)
= 6.429 bags of cement=7 bags of cement
