Apfc full form is automatatic power factor control.in this way we use a control relay that we know apfc relay.such company provide this as neptune,bch,shreem,
c&S,trinty,epcos,syntron,sycon.this is work automatically when power factor is low set point.its reduce kva and reduced demand .formula is kwh/kvah.its reduce magnetic losses of systems that motor p.f is 0.8.and when u maintained p.f 0.95 to1.00 than utility pay u incentive.if u maintained 0.99 p.fthan electricity reduce 4% of ur total bill.

In a power conditoining unit (inverter) of a solar plant when we measure the d.c. current fed by different strings of solar plates to inverter, the current in the negative wire is less almost by 1 ampere to the current in its positive wire say current in positive wire 5 A , then current in negative wire of the same string is 4 A. Since the current entering should be equal to current leaving then why the current is noticably less in negative wire.
