there is no function equivalent to that.
Rank is mostly used as an analytic/aggregating function in oracle and takes 2 columns for arguments.
Transformer stage performs transforming operations for later analysis ,doesnt directly perform analytic functions.
The closest stage would be an sort- aggregator stage for RANK.
Please remember that not all interview questions have a definitive answer.
