A sales Organization is a Legal Entity which is authorised/responsible to carry out Sales activites in a particular geography.Each sales transaction is routed through a sales organization which consists of sales areas.It is linked with other modules as it is the highest level of organization unit in SD and it comprises its own Master data which should be shared among other modules for carrying out thier transactions/reporting etc.
