kVA is apparent power
kW is real power
The relationship between the two is known as the power factor. This applies to AC circuits.
kVAh and kWh are energy measurements over time. (I believe your kWAH is a typo)
Most US utilities still bill customers in kW. However if the customer has a poor power factor, the kVA load can be substantially higher. This causes the utility to install larger equipment and incur higher losses in the process of delivering power to the customer.

In Power Line Communication (PLC) the wave trap is used to block communication signals from entering neighboring lines. My question is this: Why do they allow for different filtering arrangements on these wave traps? Isn't it always going to be a low pass filter since we want the power frequency to go through, and the comm signal blocked?
