what is cumulative and non-cumulative key figures in sap bi?

key figures are divided in to Two
Cumulative
for example: if you take bank deposit
you deposit amount 5000 next day 2000 next day 1000
total deposit=5ooo+2000+1000=8000 this is called cumulative.
Non Cumulative
if you deposit 5000 next day with draw 2000,next day deposit 4000 ...
total balance=5000-2000+4000=7000 this called non cumulative.
