Do you know about Item Category ?Explain me about Item Category ?
Answer Posted / rajesh kumar
The item category is one of the most important fields in the SAP sales order. It controls the sales document flow and also impacts the schedule line category. The item category of the sales order affects the delivery and finally impacts the billing process as well.
Unlike the sales document type, which is entered manually into the sales order at order creation, the item category is automatically determined by the system. It is then able to be changed manually in the sales document, if required.
