why do we go for oracle apps technical other than sap and
other packages?

Oracle apps is more effective for financial modules than other technologies.
However oracle apps do support other modules as well but its integration of data modules are more simple,accurate and effective to understand especially in finance modules.
Like ar,ap=>gl.
At multi org level gl is effective with single module integrity with different legal entities and taxes.
