There is three reason for scent after rain.
1, Because of the Ozone ( lightly chlorine smell)
2, Some bacteria in the soil cause scent after rain
3, Some oil secreted by various trees, when rain comes certain chemical make up oil and release to atmoshpere.


So these are 3 known reasons for the scent after rain.
