What are the implications when the power factor is is
leading condition ?
Answer Posted / n panja
power factor is in leading condition means the system is capacitive as in a capacitor current leads voltage. It also suggest that the system is running under low load or zero load condition. Excess reactive power may cause higher receiving end voltage than the sending end (ferranti effect).
