turbo charger increase volumetric efficiency its means turbo charger pumps double amount of air into the combustion chamber with pressure that increase engine working efficiency 30% to 40%.
FUNCTION;
the turbo charger consists of a turbine and a compressor, assembled in single unit.
the exhaust gas from diesel engine flows through gas inlet casing ,expends in the nozzle ring ,impart energy to the blading of turbine rotor and passes via gas outlet casing and an exhaust pipe into atmosphere.
the air required for diesel engine suction from air filter passes through branch pipe to the inducer and compressor wheel flow through diffuser leaves turbo charger via pressure pipe of the air outlet casing into charge air cooler finely ready for burning into combustion chamber.
