SCADA= supervisory control and data acquisition is a system operating with coded signals over communication channels so as to provide control of remote equipment through PLC & other controller.
DCS= distributed control system is a system which used in process industries to control process parameter and it's doesn't need separate HMI system
DCS= HMI+controller+other PLC over communication protocol
