During a given week A programer spends 1/4 of his time
preparing flow chart, 3/8 of his time coding and the rest of
the time in debugging the programs. If he works 48 hours
during the week , how many hours did he spend debugging the
program.

he works 48 hours during a week.
1/4th of his time = flow chart = 48/4 = 12 hour.
3/8th of his time = coding = 48 * 3/8 = 18 hour.
Rest time = 48 - (12+18) = 18 hours for debugging.
