Assume size of bricks = 0.19m x .09m x .09m
therefore size of bricks with mortar (assuming 20mm of mortar filling betn two bricks ie: each brick gets 10mm thick layer of mortar at their face) = 0.2m x 0.1m x 0.1m
now divide the area depending upon the type of masonary work ie: Streching bond, flemish bond etc
eg:
Streching Bond for 10 sqm
no. of bricks = 10/(0.2*0.1) = 500 bricks.
Streching Bond for 1 cum work
no. of bricks = 1/(0.2*0.1*0.1) = 500 bricks
