Deference between 11i and R12,
GL: KFFs (in 11i we have 2 but in R 12 we have 3 kffs )
like Accounting kffs,Reporting attribute and general ledger kffs.
Flexfiled Qualifiers: in 11i we have 5 but in r12 6.
In MRC in 11i we have limitation like up to 8 set of books but in r12 there is no limitation.
ASM Accounting setup manager, here we have to create directly LE and OUs.
ASM is a centralised activity like ledgers, LEs,OUs, Intercompany.
11i combinations 3 c,s called as a SET OF BOOKS but in R12 its combination of 4 C's Called LEDGER like...
Calender, currency, Chart of accounts and accounting convention method.
MOAC : MOAC is nothing but Multi org access control.
we can access the multiple operating units information trough single responsibilities,
here we have to use 2 profile options, those are ...
1.Security profile: if we have 1 Business Group
2.Global security profile : If we have multiple BG'S.
AP: 1.In 11i we have 2 options
But in R12 we have 3 options like..
Financial options, payable options, payable system optios.
2.In R12 newly added two invoices like..
1. retanaige release invoice
2. Transportaion Invoice
3.Line various conset is newly added in R12.
4.AP/AR Netting : When customer become a supplier at that time we need to do netting for payments or receipts.
5.Create Accounting programme
6.TCA: Trading community archiotechture:
7.Different bank templets.
8.SLA : Sub ledger accounting method: here we have to create our own accounting methods and accounting rules.
9. 11i legal entity is the owner of Bank account but in R12 Operating unit is the Owner of bank account.

R12:

please explain with examples the below mentioned "Creating the end to end business scenarios and executing the scenarios to perform the regression testing".
I have created an invoice and made the payment in Accounts payable. Now the payment status is Negotiable and accounting status is processed. I reconciled the transaction in Cash Mgmt, The status changed from negotiable to Reconciled in CM. I checked the payment status for the invoice in payment window(AP), the payment status changed to RECONCILED UNACCOUNTED i.e correct but the accounting status is remain processed which is not the correct. I hope the transaction will be correct if the accounting status would have changed to PERTIAL . Please suggest any solution for the above query.
