Directional Earth Fault is the Fault(between Phase/s to
Earth)in the system,if system is using only one source, so
Fault would be in one direction(towards the system)
where as Non-Directional Earth Fault is the
Fault(between Phase/s to Earth)in the system,if system is
using two or more source, so Fault would be in two
direction(away or towards)

We have Demin Closed cooling water system with expansion tank for cooling oil system. Expansion tank having N2 bladder. Whenever N2 bladder bursts out, Closed cooling water circuit pressure drops and make-up happening, eventhough there is no leaks. And how Circuit pressure drops?

DCS marshaling Cabinet Power supply can be replace during plant running time? Answer Yes it is possible. I am talking about the controller and cards power supply modules. They are always redundant and connected through diode so that if one power supply fails the other can take the charge immediately.so it is possible to replace one of them in running plant if the other one is healthy. MY question is how switching done.
