How to find quantity of cement mortar?
I want to know the req quantity of cement for plastering 300
sft in final coat with 12 mm. Any math involved? Plz help

Assume proportion 1:5
total work = 300 sq.ft.
convert in m3 = 27.87 m3
thickness is 12 mm = 27.87 *.012
total volume = .33 m3
proportion is 1:5 = 1+5 = 6
so = .33 / 6
so = .055
cement per bag volume is 1440/50 = .034
so .55 /.034 = 16.17 bag
