Static pressure is the pressure which is not moving or flowing and that has not kinetic energy and Velocity
in flow line flow is passing the way rest of orifice but the area of restricted by orifice the flow is not passing and flowing although it is exerting force on rest side of pipe this is called Static Pressure.
