How to calculate the no of bags required for 12mm thick 1:6
plastering?
Answer Posted / sagar tiwari
ratio=1:6,12mm thick-0.012m
=10*10*0.012
=1.2m^3*1.5{dry factor}
=1.8m^3
=1.8/7{1+6=7 ratio}
=0.257
volume of one bag of cement 0.0347m^3
=0.257/0.0347
=7.40 bags of cement
sand=0.257*6=1.542m^3
