suppose, after calibrating a transmitter we fixed it in a process line. At live zero condition the Tx shows 4.5 mA. what should we do to make the Tx show 4 mA? If we adjust zero, will it not affect the calibration?
Answer Posted / bala
if the transmitter shows 4.5ma at zero pressure. we need to trim the tx by using hart communicator. there is an option in hart digital to analog trim. go to that option and make a trim and so if not D/A trim not proper then last need to replace the new transmitter.
