HOW we can calculate the quantity of sand and cement for 1:4
plastering with a thickness of 12 mm..total area need to be
plaster is 985 sqm
Answer Posted / k.l.b.srinivas
ACTUALLY I THINK
1 CUM = 35.315 CFT
12mm = .5"/ .039 feet /.012 M
so. 12 mm thick plastering = 1/ 0.012 = 83.33 Sqm
for 1 Cum cement required is in 1:4
1/4*1440 = 288 Kgs.
so, for 83.33 Sqm we need 288 kgs of cement & 288*4 = 1,152
Kgs. of sand multiply the amount with 985 & divide it by 83.33
3,404 Kgs. of Cement = 68 Bags.
