Can you explain,what is entropy?Also tell us what happened
in terms of ENTROPY when you give heat to a sealed tube
containing half of water?

As the heat is added to the system the entropy value
increases.
The efficiency of the euipment (compressor) gets decreased
when the value of entropy increases.
So entropy is inversly proportional to efficiency
