i lost my refusal letter issued by UK Embassy, can any one
help me how to get the duplicate refusal letter from the Uk

I had the same situation , and have mailed the embassy in
chennai (location depends on where u have applied for visa i
have applied in Hyderabad and it goes to the chennai embassy
)to get me the copy of it the mail id of the chennai embassy
is "Chennai.visaenquiry@fco.gov.uk" i got reply with in
three hours with the copy of it.
PS : you need to mention your name , passport number and
refusal reference number that is stamped on back page of
your passport

Hi my grandmother is from the UK now married and living in Aus. I am looking to go to UK and asked her for her birth cert. she is very worried it will get lots in post and asked if it is ok to send a copy of it?
I am supposed to sit exams in the UK for 2 days. I am told I am supposed to apply for a student Visitor VISA. However I am told for one to get a student visitor visa, the institution conducting the course MUST be accredited by British Accreditation Council (BAC) or Accreditation UK. In my case, I am undertaking an internationally recognized professional qualification that is provided by a short course provide in the UK that is not accredited by the UK border agency. I have been accepted on a course of study and I have also received a letter from the institution inviting me for the exams. Can I still apply for a UK student visitor visa/ what should I do since I only need 2 days to be able to sit these exams and these exams are only scheduled in the UK?

Hi I've got a work permit to UK which is stamped (visa) in the year 2009 march. Due to some reason I have not travelled so far(2010 march). But the job offer is still open for me and also the Visa is valid till to 2011 march. Now my query is ... Can I travel to UK? for that Do I have to notify at UK ambassy in India that I'm travelling. Right Now I am in Canada on workpermit for my Company assignment.I have to be here for 1 year 6 months. My HSMP aprroval is valied till Feb2009. I was refused UK student visa 9 years back. Thereafter, I lost my refusal letter & passport. Now I have new passport & it has no reference of previous passport. At present, I need to apply for 6 months visa to appear in an exam. But I have no idea as to how I can fill visa form providing info of earlier refusal. I have recently got married, and my husband is on Tier (1) General from October 2007. I have mistaken submitted a form VAF-4A (settlement visa) instead of VAF-10 (Tier 1 DAependant). I filled the application online, and since am not planning to work, so i choose settlement rather the work in the type of visa section.
