IN THE SHORT CIRCUIT TEST WE DETERMINE THE COPPER LOSS .IN WHICH SECONDARY SIDE OF THE TRANSFORMER(LOW SIDE OF THE TRANSFORMER ) IS SHORT CKT BY THE AMMETER AND RELAY AFTER THAT WE APPLY RATED CURRENT ON THE HV SIDE OF THE TRANSFORMER AND HV SIDE A SMALL VOLTAGE ARE APPLY WHICH IS 2 TO 10% OF THE RATED VOLTAGE .SO THE VALUE OF THE VOLTAGE IS VERY LOW AS COMPARE TO THE FULL LOADED VOLTAGE .SO READING OF THE WATTMETER ARE ONLY THE READ THE VALUE OF THE COPPER LOSSES AND ALSO DETERMINE THE SHORT CKT PARAMETER Rsc , ZsC AND ALSO Xsc
