why we are not using the unit joule for torque instead of N-m.

in actually, the torque is only concerned with energy in machenical sense and can only be used in form of work energy, heat energy, thermal energy etc.
the torque can't write as joule because it is not any type of energy in itself.it just effect the rotational motion of a body but not having any type of energy.
