My ups output shows 230 v between phase and neutral,but show
zero between phase and earth.Is the system/installation is
correct.If not what will be the possible reasons

correct.it will show output between phase and earth only and only in faulty condition not in normal.if there is fault and still not output between ph-earth then your earthing is not properly done.
