If there is no common dimension? Is it possible to combine
two different dataproviders?

Its not possible to combine objects from two different data providers within a single REPORT, if they dont have a common dimension. However, its possible to have non linked Data providers within a single DOCUMENT,where they are not joined together. I hope you are aware of the difference between a document and a report.
