what is the major difference between EIGRP & IGRP?
Answer Posted / avidojevic
IGRP is distance vector protocol as RIP, EIGRP is link
stata protocol as OSPF.
IGRP is classful protocol (doesn't contain class mask
information in routing update), EIGRP is classless protocol
(contain class mask information in routing protocol, so
support subneting and VLSM).
EIGRP supports concept of interlan route with AD 90 and
external route with AD 170 to prevent loops IGRP doesn't.
