For any transformer it is better to install two for body
eathing and two for Neutal earthing
Body Earthing: GI pipe 40mm dia using charcoal and salt

Neutral Earthing: Copper plate 600x600x3 mm size for
netural earthing with all neccesary materials

After completion of Earthing you need to check the earth
resistance value for these earthing it should be below 3ohms

I think these are the neccasary requiremnts for your
trasnformer

According to IS standards the distance between pits must be
2.5mtrs and from the building it should be far from 3000mm

We have a couple of oil tanks at our plant. One of them does not have a lightning arrester installed. My question is it necessary to install an arrestor on every tank or will this particular one be covered by the arrestor installed on the ajdacent tank, Since all the tanks are close to each other. I'm generating a pulse of 3V with frequency 80Hz (12.5ms time period) and pulse duration 0.125ms and feeding it to a transformer since i want the pulse to get amplified around 60V. At the output amplification s happening but the pulse is changed to a spike, can you tell me what could be the reason? (an ordinary transformer 220V-12V stepdown transformer is reverse connected ie. now it is 12V-220V stepup and voltage amplification happens)
