In Ht motor Harmonics of 5th,7th and above order are created. To provide a path for the this unbalanced currents Star connection is made so that those currents will flow through the neutral of the star connection. which is not possible in delta connections.

why Lightning arrestor are made by 2 seperate stack of inslutor but why cvt are in single stack of insulator.
