IDBI is govt banking not directly because IDBIbank was
industrial development bank which was in financial problem so
its merged in its original IDBI group which was under the
govt share . So its one of the 20 nationalised bank of india.
selection is done through IBPS score and interview.

Is an RBI Grade B officer likely to be transferred once he is allocated a position at one of the RBI branches? I am currently a PO in SBI. Compared to that, can you kindly inform me: 1) Is the chance to be allocated to your home state more in RBI? 2)Is an RBI Grade B officer likely to be transferred once he is allocated a position at one of the RBI branches? 3) Is the salary,job satisfaction, comparable workload, pension etc substantially better in RBI than in SBI? I can't find reliable information on this anywhere. Kindly enlighten me if possible.

If the panel asks me "How will you apply your knowledge of economics in this job" What should be my answer? i a aware at banks are all about finance and economics, but that knowledge will be used at 'Senior management level'. BUT 'How to use economics at PO level?'Please help
