Why the voltage n frequency of the incoming generator is kept slightly higher than d grid voltage n frequency while synchronization ?
Answer Posted / b goutham
Actually the condition for synchronization is voltage and frequency of incoming generator should be equal to the grid otherwise there will dead short cicuit...and also large currents flows through the incoming alternator which may damage the winding of the alternator.....so the voltage and frequency should be the same...
