Calculation of Materials:-

For 1 cum of concrete Mix 1:2:4 (M15)
1 cum concrete volume = 1.57 cum
= (1/7)*1.57 = 0.224 cum
For 1 cum = 30 bags of cement required (1440/50) say 29 bags
Cement = 0.224 x 29 = 6.496 bags
Sand = 0.224 x 2 = 0.448 cum
Aggregate = 0.224 x 4 = 0.896 cum

Wall plastering in CM 1:4 of 12 mm thick for 100 m2:-

Volume = 100 x (12/1000) = 1.20 cum
Add 30 as bulking of sand = 0.36 cum
Add 20 as wastage of sand = 0.312 cum
Total = 1.872 cum
= (1.872/1+4) = 0.374 cum
Cement = 0.374 x 3 = 10.77 bags
Sand = 0.374 x 4 = 1.496 cum
