what are centralized and decentralized level of control of
item attributes?
Answer Posted / mandeep
Item attributes are the collection of information about an
item. Using the Item Attribute Controls window, you can
designate whether an item attribute is defined/maintained
at the Master level or the Organization level. Attributes
at the Master level are the same across all organizations,
giving you centralized control over the values assigned. If
an attribute is maintained at the Organization level, you
can have different values in each organization the item is
assigned to and therefore have decentralized control over
that attribute.
