Before u joining in sap-bw first u hav to know the maximum terminology and flows of core or functional module like SD,MM, and Fi. PP also better if u know. Becz Bi consultants develops reports for these modules only.and most important here is ABAP knowledge.i.e', Core ABAP is best upto funtion modules Including internal tables and BAdIs...etc.Becz in future (now 2012) All will ask Bw-ABAP consultants. Why becz, in Bi around 20 places Abap should use. Having Bo is added advantage.(crystal & Excelsius)And in hyd u can learn Bi @RR rao, Vzen , pratap reddy, Version it(famous for fico and abap).
