how to calculate quantity of cement and sand for plastering works in CM 1:6 proportion.....plz answer anyone.....and write the formula...
Answer Posted / raheel aamir
Ratio 1:6
Cement =1/7=.143
Dry To wet =1.27*.143=.181
Weight in KG = .181*35.31*40= 256.25KG
Wastage factor @5%= 256.25/.95= 269.74Kg
Sand=6/7=.857*1.27=1.089*35.31=38.437/.9=42.71 Cft (Dry to wet =1.27, Wastage Factor= 10%)
