how step down and step up voltage is occured in transformer
Answer Posted / zakir ali khan
any machine basic working principle is FARADAY LAWS of
electro magnetic induction:
1st law:when ever a conductor cuts a magnetic flux an EMF is
induced dynamically in the conductor.
2nd law:induced emf proportional to flux linkages(N,rate of
change of flux).
based on 1stlaw emf induced in transformer.
step down:as secondary turns are low flux linkages is less
hence induced emf is low in secondary camored to primery.
step up:as secondary turns are high flux linkages is large
hence induced emf is high in secondary camored to primery.
