Usually helicopters are having a small fan at the rear
end, the purpose is;?

When a shaft rotates, reversible torque works on stationary part of machine, because Helicopter body is free in air and this reversible torque tries to rotate helicopter in opposite to main fan which leads unbalanciing to avoid this a little fan provided at rear end.
