You have raised a priority 1 bug that needs to be fixed for
release tonight, the developer concerned is refusing to fix
this, what do you do and why?

Hi Friend,
If any bug assigned Priority –‘P1 ‘
This means a Core/Critical functionality of application
Failed and test execution is completely or partly blocked.
You can say it is show stopper for Testing and also for
Release.
Then that P1 bug needs to be fixed immediately to continue
the testing.
Without this Bug fix we cannot Test and eventually we
cannot deliver the application to the client.
Developer should not refuse to fix this kind of Bug, If he
refuse escalate to next higher level and Get it Fixed.
After this bug fix we need to conduct regression testing,
Full Functional Testing and then only we can release the
build to client.
Thanks,
